How to find our offices
Oslo office
Our office is located in the centre of Oslo. The visiting address is Akersgata 55.
From the airport
If you arrive at Gardermoen airport, take the Airport Express train to Oslo S. Central station.
From the central station
From the Central station you can walk to our office (approx. 10 minutes) or you can go by taxi.
If you walk, start at Karl Johans gate (pedestrian/shopping street) and walk up the street approx. 250 meters and turn right at Akersgata. Our offices are at no. 55 (we are in the same building as the newspaper VG).
When you enter the building, go straight through the shopping centre and you will find a glass lift on your right hand side. The reception is on the third floor.
Kiev office
Our office is located in the centre of Kiev. The visiting address is 3 Sportyvna Ploscha, IV entrance, 4th floor.From the airport
A taxi is recommended to get from the Borispil airport.
From the Palats Sporta metro station
From the the Palats Sporta metro station it will take you approx. 5 minutes to get to our office. When getting out the metro station, you will see the Palace of Sports in front of you. You should pass it, then you will see a grey office building behind the Palace of Sports. Enter IV Entrance and take the elevator to get to the 4th floor, where our office is located.
Washington D.C. office
If you arrive at Dulles Airport
(there is no train)
a) You can take a taxi to the office ( 45 minutes - approx. $ 50 ).
b) You can take the Super Shuttle to the office which can be found in the lower level of the airport (approx. $30)
If you arrive at Reagan National Airport
a) You can take a taxi ( 15-20 minutes depending on traffic - approx. $15)
b) You can take the MetroRail: (under $2.00)
- Yellow Line (destination Fort Totten) to Gallery Place - Chinatown. Change to Red Line (destination Glenmont) and exit at the New York Ave stop.
OR:
- Blue Line (destination Largo) to Metro Center. Change to Red Line (destination Glenmont) and exit at New York Ave stop.
If you arrive at BWI Airport
There is an Amtrak train from BWI to Union Station. At Union Station, take the MetroRail Red Line (direction of Glenmont) to New York Ave stop.
Walking Directions to Point Carbon from New York Ave Metro Stop
Once exiting the train, proceed to the lower level and exit the station at M Street (instead of the Florida Ave exit). Once outside the station, turn left and walk one block (in the direction away from the overpass). Mind the sidewalk closures for adjacent construction.
Cross the street at the first intersection, and you will find 1200 First St NE immediately at the northwestern corner of this intersection.
The walk from the New York Ave metro stop takes 4 minutes approximately.
London office
If you arrive at Heathrow Airport a) Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. It goes every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes (approx. £30 return). From Paddington, take the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmit & City tube line (marked “via Liverpool Street Station”) to Farringdon Station. From there it is 3 minutes walk, see below.
b) Take a taxi to the office (1 hour 15 minutes - approx. £60, depending on traffic). If you arrive at Stansted Airport Take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street Station (approx. £30 return). Take the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmit & City tube line (marked “via Paddington”) to Farringdon Station. From there it is 3 minutes walk, see below.
If you arrive at City Airport
a) Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Bank. Change to the Northern Line, northbound to Moorgate. Change to the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmit & City tube line (marked “via Paddington”) to Farringdon Station. From there it is 3 minutes walk, see below.
b) Take a taxi to the office (45 minutes - approx. £40, depending on traffic).
If you arrive at Gatwick Airport
Take the Gatwick Express to Victoria (30 minutes, approx £30 return).
Then either
a) Take a taxi to Point Carbon office (20 minutes, £15) OR
b) Victoria Line northbound to King's Cross, change to the Circle/Metropolitan/Hammersmit & City tube line (marked “via Liverpool Street Station”) to Farringdon Station. From there it is 3 minutes walk, see below.
Walking directions to Point Carbon from Farringdon tube stop
From Farringdon, turn left out of the station and immediately left again onto Turnmill Street. At the first set of traffic lights, which is the junction with Clerkenwell Road, cross over and turn right along Clerkenwell Road. We are 50 metres further on the left hand side and there is a Point Carbon sign outside the door. Ring the Point Carbon buzzer and come up to the second floor.
