Senior Carbon Analyst - Kiev

The successful candidate will be based in Kiev, Ukraine

• Gather and analyze data related to costs and risks of CDM and JI projects
• Contribute to Point Carbon’s analysis of supply of carbon credits from Russia, Ukraine and Central Eastern European countries
• Provide research support that will aid the further development of Carbon Project Manager, the world’s leading tool for CDM/JI investors
• Work closely as part of a team  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in carbon markets is an advantage
• At least two years experience with development or analysis of environmental projects, preferably JI and CDM. Candidates with project finance experience will also be considered
• Possess a degree in engineering, environmental finance or economics
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems (e.g. Excel, Word)
• Has paid experience collecting data and managing datasets where high attention to detail is required
• Must be committed, reliable and professional
• Has excellent command of oral and written English
• Work independently with limited supervision as well as part of a team
