Best Trader, Broker and Project Developer Announced
Amsterdam -- 3 March 2010 -- Point Carbon is delighted to announce that Barclays Capital, TFS Green/Tradition and Noble Carbon Credits have won best trader, best broker and best project developer respectively at this year’s Carbon Market Awards.
On receiving the award, Louis Redshaw of Barclays Capital, said, “last year we focused our efforts on providing carbon financing products that helped our clients and the wider market manage the exaggerated risks that we have all experienced. The awards are presented each year at Point Carbon’s annual carbon market conference, CMI, which is already underway, this year in Amsterdam. Point Carbon is the leading independent provider of market intelligence, news, analysis, forecasting and advisory services for the energy and environmental markets. Voting is a completely open process with invitations to nominate sent to more than 1,000 Point Carbon subscribers. There is no short-list enabling subscribers to choose their own candidates in the three categories.
