We provide insights into energy and environmental markets. What makes markets work? Best practices in market design? How are markets linked? Our market tracking, models and databases facilitate forecasting and analyses of price formation, liquidity and risk.
Climate policy analysis
Our team of political scientists monitors and assesses long term climate change and energy policies, as well as the economic impacts of trading schemes. Our Brussels office provides first hand access to EU policy developments. The Kiev office provides in-depth analysis of carbon developments in Ukraine, Russia and central and eastern European countries. Our Washington DC office monitors state, regional and federal initiatives in North America.
CDM/JI market and risk assessment
Our industry-reference project database provides data for us to carry out empirical risk assessment, valuation and due diligence of contract portfolios, assessments of market fundamentals and price formation, country studies and investment advice.

Point Carbon helps companies formulate effective corporate, business and trading strategies to adapt to a carbon-constrained world.
