2010 promises to be a critical year for global carbon markets. Will the US ETS make it into law? Will the US/China dynamic break the deadlock? Is it the end of the road for UN after chaotic talks in Copenhagen? What will happen after 2012? How can the investor negotiate this political landscape?

Investors and politicians alike have their sights firmly set on Carbon Market Insights 2010, the annual event for the world's carbon markets, where these questions and many others will be tackled.

Press events will include the launch of the Carbon 2010 report, the largest survey ever done on the carbon markets. The report provides the most comprehensive overview of the international carbon market to date. It is based on Point Carbon's databases and market intelligence, together with the world's largest survey on the carbon market. The report gives a full overview of the market in 2009; volumes, prices, value, interactions with power prices, and the market's expectations for the 2010 and Phase II, as well as other EU ETS-related topics.
