EC clears free EUAs for Czech, Romanian and Bulgarian utilities

LONDON, July 6 (Reuters Point Carbon) - The EU has given permission for Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Romania to give their power companies a total of 233 million carbon allowances for free over the next seven years, according to a statement on the Commission website.
