EU CO2 permits rise on expectation of QE3 launch

LONDON, July 17 (Reuters Point Carbon) - European carbon climbed 1.3 percent on Tuesday to claw back much of the past two days’ losses as crude oil rose for the fourth successive day on expectation that the U.S. would start a third round of quantitative easing, known as QE3, to boost its struggling economy.
