Australia could face CER ban: study

BEIJING, Aug 22 (Reuters Point Carbon) - Australia could be barred from buying U.N.-issued carbon offsets if it doesn’t sign up to a second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol, an outcome that would likely lead to a price spike in the country's emerging carbon market, according to a new study.
