Hangzhou becomes China’s eighth region to launch CO2 market

BEIJING, June 26 (Reuters Point Carbon) – One of China’s fastest growing cities is set to become the nation’s eighth region to launch a carbon market, after Hangzhou city’s government approved a plan to launch an emissions trading scheme to regulate CO2 emissions from hundreds of firms.
