Australia outlines cap for 2014 CO2 market launch

LONDON, July 25 (Reuters Point Carbon) – Firms covered by Australia’s carbon market from mid-2014 could face an emission cap 25 million tonnes lower than their emissions this year, the government said Thursday in a draft bill intending to replace the nation’s carbon tax with an emission trading scheme.
