Interview: Uruguay looks to CDM to boost renewable energy
As a prolonged drought affects hydroelectric output and with thermal power plants under pressure from soaring fuel prices, Uruguay is looking to the UN’s clean development mechanism (CDM) to finance renewable energy projects, a senior official said.
