POLL - Analysts cut EU carbon price forecasts

LONDON, Jan 8 (Reuters) - Analysts in a Reuters poll cut the forecast for the average price of European Union carbon permits this year to 7.54 euros ($9.78) per tonne of emissions on concerns a plan to boost prices would not come into force until late 2013 or 2014.
