In this month's Focal point article, we look at Australia's proposed carbon pricing plan, as contained in the Clean Energy Future plan. If approved, the plan will introduce a fee on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions starting in 2012, which then becomes a trading scheme in 2015. Plus data, market and policy analysis on the EU ETS, CDM, JI, AAU, RGGI, NZ ETS, California and emerging carbon markets.
